generated SQL scripts unusable due to escape characters

Markus Wanner
Dear Postgis developers,

due to some bashisms in Makefiles, the generated SQL scripts started
with an escape character in Debian 9 (AKA stretch) and fail to apply.
Attached is a patch fixing this.

Kind Regards

Markus Wanner

Meh.. I forgot, sorry. Let's try again.

Or if Mailman eats patches, you can download here (as if it were huge):
https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-grass/postgis.git/tree/debian/patches/avoid-bashisms.patch

Thank Markus, this has been bothering me but I didn't have a good solution in mind.
